The Floorball Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) provides students with an exciting opportunity to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced team sport

The Floorball CCA provides students with a structured and supportive environment to develop sporting skills while building teamwork, confidence, resilience and discipline. Through regular training and competitive experiences, students are encouraged to strive for improvement, support one another and demonstrate good sportsmanship both on and off the court. Through regular training, friendly matches and competitions, students develop their technical abilities, tactical understanding, physical fitness and teamwork.
Objectives
Skill Development
To develop students' proficiency in fundamental floorball skills, including stick handling, passing, receiving, shooting and defensive play.Physical Fitness
To improve students' agility, coordination, speed, endurance and overall physical fitness through regular training.Teamwork and Strategy
To develop effective communication, cooperation and decision-making skills through team-based activities and game situations.Competitive Experience
To provide students with opportunities to participate in friendly matches and inter-school competitions, allowing them to apply their skills in competitive settings.
Curriculum and Activities
1. Technical Skills Training
Students are taught fundamental floorball skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting and defending. Training focuses on improving control, accuracy and confidence with the stick and ball.
2. Drills and Physical Conditioning
Students participate in drills designed to develop agility, speed, coordination, reaction time and endurance. These activities help students improve their physical fitness while developing their floorball skills.
3. Tactical Development
Students learn basic attacking and defensive principles, positioning, movement off the ball and decision-making during game situations. They are encouraged to read the game and make appropriate tactical decisions.
4. Team Practices
Regular team practices provide opportunities for students to develop teamwork, communication and understanding among teammates. Students work together to practise game strategies and apply tactical concepts.
5. Competitions and Friendly Matches
Students participate in friendly matches and inter-school competitions. These experiences allow students to apply their skills in real game situations while developing resilience, sportsmanship and confidence.
6. Rules and Sportsmanship
Students learn the rules and regulations of floorball, including safe equipment use, game conduct and fair play. Emphasis is placed on respect for teammates, opponents, officials and coaches.
